Yuito Sumeragi (ユイト・スメラギ?) is the main protagonist in Scarlet Nexus and the main protagonist of the anime adaption. He is the second son of the prestigious Sumeragi family.

Appearance[]
Yuito has short, dark brown hair with red streaks and red eyes. He opts to wear the Samurai variant of the Blk Battle Attire which consists of a black hooded jacket, long black pants and grey strapped boots. He wears a glove on the hand he uses during telekinetic attacks. He also has a sheath for his sword. He also has a number of connection cables on his body that are visible when using SAS. He has an earring-like cuff on his left ear.
Personality[]
Yuito's childhood dream was to become a member of the OSF after he was saved by a serving member during an Other attack when he was younger. He is a caring person and will do anything he has to in order to protect his friends from Other monsters.

Trivia[]
- The symbol for Yuito's psychokinesis ability is the Kanji character 念, which means 'thought'.
- Yuito is born on New Years Day.
- In the game, it is speculated that Yuito may lose his powers, however, the Kunad Gate resonated with his Gravikinesis; another method to close the Kunad Gate would be to wait for Yuito to lose his powers without removing the entanglements within the Gate and/or killing Yuito. This may be considered a plot hole, unless it gets an explaination in a potential sequel.
