SAS (Struggle Arms System) is a tutorial in Scarlet Nexus. This describes how the player may borrow different Psionic abilities using the SAS system for a short time. The Brain Map interface can allow for multiple SAS usage at a single time once those nodes are upgraded. Individual abilities can be upgraded up to level 6 by increasing the Bond Level with companions.

SAS is a brain-to-brain connection with virtual cable that allows you to temporarily use allies' powers. SAS menu is displayed in the lower right of the screen during battle. Pressing [1] [2] [3] [4] will activate the SAS entered into each slot.

Each power's effect lasts for a limited time. When the gauge reaches 0, the effect will stop. You can stop the effect yourself with either [5] or [1] [2] [3] [4]. Each power recovers at a different rate, but once it does you can use it again.

Trivia

• During chapter 1, Prologue: Encounter, Kasane and Naomi were both linked into the SAS together. The reactions of Kasane, Naomi and the other cadets suggest that the first SAS link is extremely painful.
